A Day of Happy Happynings

Today was an exciting day! Being that it was our second anniversary, we were finally able to go over to LDS Family Services to pick up our initial paperwork so that we can adopt a child. Those guys don't mess around when it comes to making sure that the perspective adoptive parent are well qualified. The packet we picked up outlined what will likely take several months of work to complete. Oh well, I guess none of the important things in life come easy.
Another bright and cheery moment of the day occurred when Lance checked to see if his MCAT Score had been posted. It had and he got a 33!!! (For the majority of you that may be unfamiliar with the MCAT, The score is out of 45 possible, with 24 being average. That puts him in about the ninetieth percentile of all medical school applicants that take the test which will hopefully mean that getting accepted to a medical school will at least be possible).
We celebrated the happy day by going out to eat at Iron Gate Grill. When we got home, we ate some of Lance's Creme Brulee. Yummy!

Caving Adventures Above Tony Grove

My Friends and I have recently taken advantage of the rapidly melting snow in the tony grove lake area. Last wee we were able to drive within a mile of the lake and so we set off on foot to the high country around the lake in order to explore a few of the many caves in the area.
Below are several of the pictures from our adventures.

The New Adventures of Lance and Dani

It has finally been done! Lance and I have moved into our own apartment! Oh Happy Day!!! It's been a bit crazy living with the family for a year so it was more then past due to have our own place again. Although my parents were very kind to take in a few straglers. It has been a while since we have posted a real post so for an update here it is. Lance completed College and now has a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Med BioChemistry. He also took his MCAT a couple weeks ago and should hopefully be getting his score back in about 3 weeks. He said it was easier then he expected , which can mean 2 things: he either bombed it or passed with flying colors. Knowing Lance I'm thinking he did just fine and will be sailing through to Medical School well that's just in my dreams the whole sailing through to school. That process will not be a fun one! As for now we just finished getting the apartment settled and are now working on getting Lance a job that pays Millions(that is also in my dreams!). Here are a boot load of pictures of the last couple days and events!
