Crazy for Crochet

I have a problem.......A big problem! It all started with my sister in-law pulling out her crochet project. It got me thinking. So, I went online to a very naughty website called Etsy. Bad Idea. I started looking and my soul was singing! I was determined to learn! As I looked through the different patterns and things I was about to burst so I had to call someone who I knew would share in my glee. I called my sister in-law Karen. I literally( like seriously) almost had tears in my eyes cause I thought these things were so cute. My heart was overwhelmed with cuteness! Karen I'm sure , thought I had maybe been taking something funny cause I was out of control. Don't worry when I really get good at this my kids will hate me! They will accessories for every outfit.
P.S. Yes this does mean everyone will now only be getting crocheted stuff from me :)

* These were some of my ABSOLUTE favorites! Like, I MUST learn how to make these ones!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

3 Months

Well in another hour and 20 minutes. We did it! We made it to the 3 month mark. Mason has grown so much from the tiny little scrawny thing to a cute little chubba. He's growing so much physically and mentally. Here are just a few little tidbits about the man of the house.
  • He's teething ;( I know it's crazy and is way to young for this but it's true. He constantly is chewing on stuff, drooling, and cranky. If there is a finger in reach he lunges after it like he's going to eat your finger off and chews till nothing is left. As soon as we give him a carrot, finger, or piece of fabric he is happy.
  • He's a chatter box. He loves to talk and be very vocal about how he is feeling. He will sit there and have conversations with you.
  • He loves being on his feet. Whether he's just bouncing up and down or taking little steps. His uncles were walking at 7 and 8 months. Were in trouble....
  • He can do things with his eyebrows that I didn't know were possible. This kid seriously deserves a gold star for the awesome faces he pulls. Even when he's ticked you cant help but laugh. Just ask Karen.
  • He loves his daddy! He's always the loudest and most active with dad.
  • He's a chick magnet. We were in the Olive Garden Restroom and this little old lady with a fun accent was chatting away with him and kissed my child on the forehead. Were definitely in trouble!
  • He's got very curly hair. Watch out Eli you have some competition!
So there you have it. We can't get enough of him and really are loving this whole parent thing! We are have there to having him ours and ready to be sealed and blesses!
