Well today was my first day of school! I had been waiting for so long to start school and I finally did! Lance was so sick of me this morning cause I was acting like a Freshman going to High School. All morning I made Lance stay with me and I would ask him, what should I wear, does this look o.k., are my eyebrows to dark, and do I look cute enough? Then I made him take pictures of me getting ready. So anywase I left for school at about 8:30 cause I wanted to get there so fast. So I get there and I'm all excited and ready to go. I go to the front door and it was locked! By that time it was like 8:45 and thought for sure someone would be there. I went back to my car feeling like the biggest dork for being so early that the doors were still locked. Then I called Lance and said I'm the first one here and its all locked, and then we both laighed really hard cause it was just funny at the moment. Then I had Lance give me the school number so I could call. I called and I'm like Ummmm I think I'm parked in the wrong spot and the doors are locked. It was the owner of the school and she just starts laughing and says " Is this Danielle?"
Then she told me where to park and I felt dumb and it was funny. Probably not as funny to all of you reading this but I thought it was fun. Oh and Yes I loved my first day of school!

Ugh! Just throw on a shirt, put those pants on, and drag yourself to school like lance and I do everyday. You know its people like you who make "going back to school" so overrated. You'll find out like the rest of us that school is not what we conjure in our little minds that its exciting and fun. School was never fun! Its tough, strenuous and almost unbearable. But if it weren't for school, I would cease to have any communication with the opposite sex, so I guess there are certain advantages to school...
You work hard girl! Learn all you can and sail to the top of your class. All the girls in the Dickey family are counting on you to be our super talented hair dresser in the future. Knock em dead!
I'm pretty excited that for the first time in a zillion years, I'm not taking classes this fall. But I'm glad you are - best of luck! And I happen to know that you're already talented, but get that degree so that you can get paid (legally) for it! Like Jill, I'm very happy to have a stylist in the fam.
Thanks for the encouragment Adam!
Dani, Don't listen to Bill. He doesn't understand how exciting this is for you and how long you've been waiting for it! You looked beautiful that first day and I'm sure you'll be the star. Good luck with everything!!
